The Flare Quick Start Guide (QSG) is a comprehensive, user-friendly guide designed to streamline the product activation process and enhance the overall customer experience. This guide was created as part of a 30-60-90 day activation plan to address key business challenges, including product activation, customer retention, customer satisfaction, and referral rates.

Third-party print production company (acted as the point person and intermediary between stakeholders and third-party to produce QSG hard copy to implement in the unboxing experience)

The primary purpose of the Flare QSG is to improve product activation rates by providing customers with clear, concise, and visually engaging instructions on how to set up and use their Flare device. By addressing common pain points and questions identified through extensive user research, interviews, and surveys, the QSG aims to bridge the gap between product purchase and activation, ultimately leading to increased customer satisfaction, retention, and referrals.

A substantial and consistent increase in activation rates across various time frames:After consistently sitting at a 20% average activation rate week-over-week, after the implementation of the QSG, the activation rate skyrocketed to 242% the first week after implementation, showcasing the immediate impact of the QSG on user activation.
The activation rate for the previous 4 weeks reached 212%, demonstrating sustained engagement and the guide's effectiveness in driving activation over an extended period.
The previous 8 weeks' activation rate climbed to 56%, compared to pre-QSG rates, highlighting the long-term benefits of implementing the QSG.
An impressive total of 1,841 new net activated users within the first month of implementing the QSG, far surpassing previous activation figures and underlining the guide's success in converting purchasers into active users.
