  • As the fractional Director of Community at Keepler, I spearheaded the growth and evolution of a dynamic community focused on conscious relationship development and self-growth. By strategically aligning community objectives with business goals, prioritizing member engagement, and implementing data-driven insights, the Keepler Community achieved significant growth, increased user engagement, and embodied several transformative iterations as a result of extensive user research and multifaceted buiness strategies

  • Keepler, an innovative conscious relationship and self-growth app, recognized the untapped potential of community-building in elevating the user experience, driving retention, and fostering meaningful connections. As the fractional Director of Community, I leveraged my expertise in community strategy, customer experience, and engagement to transform the Keepler Community from a BETA test group of ~100 folks into a thriving network of over 2,200+ members (and growing!).

  • The primary challenges in building the Keepler Community included aligning the community with user needs and business objectives, developing comprehensive engagement strategies to drive participation and retention, implementing effective onboarding processes to foster authentic connections, and measuring and evaluating community success while preserving authenticity and vulnerability. These challenges required a strategic and data-driven approach to ensure the community's success.

  • To address these challenges, I focused on collaboratively crafting community values, guidelines, and engagement strategies aligned with Keepler's mission. Providing strategic UX consulting on app wireframes and feature ideation was crucial to enhance the user experience. Implementing robust systems for tracking and analyzing community metrics was essential to inform data-driven decision-making. I also directed community content creation initiatives and executed impactful email marketing campaigns. Establishing and optimizing community management and moderation processes, including rigorous moderator onboarding and training, was a key aspect of the approach.

  • The implementation process encompassed six key areas:

    • Conceived and launched the Keepler Community, transforming it from a BETA test group into a thriving network

    • Developed comprehensive engagement strategies, community values, and guidelines to foster authentic interactions and lasting connections

    • Provided strategic UX consulting on app wireframes and collaborated on feature ideation to enhance the overall user experience

    • Implemented robust systems for tracking and analyzing community metrics, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making

  • The Keepler Community aimed to achieve the following goals:

    • Position Keepler as a leader in the dating and personal development space by cultivating a vibrant and engaged community

  • The Keepler Community achieved impressive results, including:

    • Increased Monthly Active Users / Total Users from 3.5% in August 2023 to 53.7% by March 2024, demonstrating increasing growth

    • Led to a 729.7% increase in WAU and a 3208% increase in MAU from August 2023 to March 2024

    • Maintained a consistent DAU/WAU ratio of 26.2% by March 2024, indicating regular user engagement (2+ days per week)

    • Improved NPS score from -15 EOY 2022 to 35 by EOY 2023

    • Resulted in a 70.4% cumulative open rate and 2.8% cumulative CTR for email campaigns by March 2024

    • Contributed to a 987.1% increase in app impressions and a 1380% increase in product page views from August 2023 to March 2024

    • Achieved an average conversion rate of 34%, surpassing the industry average and demonstrating effective app store optimization
